Middle East: PNA says killing of Palestinians in Jenin is a war crime

Turin, 27 November (LaPresse) – The Palestinian Authority has denounced what it calls the “execution” of two young Palestinians in Jenin “in cold blood, even after they surrendered” to Israeli troops during the assault on the West Bank. The killings took place near Jabal Abu Dhahir, close to the Jenin refugee camp. The Palestinian Foreign Ministry, Al Jazeera reports, called the incident a ‘war crime’ and part of what it described as ‘systematic and widespread’ extrajudicial executions. The PNA has called on the international community and the UN Security Council to take immediate action against Israeli leaders.
