Latina: 36-year-old man found dead in front of his home, murder investigation underway

Milan, 30 November (LaPresse) – A murder investigation is underway after the body of a 36-year-old Indian citizen was found in front of a house in the open countryside on the Torre provincial road in Pontinia, in the province of Latina. Carabinieri from the Latina Company and the local station intervened at the scene after receiving a report from 118, finding and identifying the victim’s compatriots who had discovered the body and alerted the emergency services. Staff from the Investigative Unit of the Provincial Command of Latina found traces of blood outside and inside the house, which has been seized. Public prosecutor Marco Giancristofaro of the Latina Public Prosecutor’s Office arrived at the scene and, at his request, the medical examiner, who, after examining the body, found a head wound. The body was placed at the disposal of the judicial authorities, who ordered an autopsy. The case is being investigated as a homicide.
