Milan: 24-year-old woman raped in city centre, 22-year-old man reported to police

Milan, 30 November (LaPresse) – A 24-year-old woman was raped in the early hours of the morning in the centre of Milan, near a bar in Via Molino delle Armi. The Milan Mobile Radio Unit intervened at the scene in Via Crocefisso, at the corner of Via della Colma, where the young woman was found. She told the Carabinieri that she had been the victim of violence and subsequently filed a formal complaint. The alleged rapist, a 22-year-old Italian with no previous criminal record, who had already been detained by the club’s security staff, was reported while remaining at liberty. The victim was taken to the emergency room of the Mangiagalli Clinic for examination. The investigation is ongoing.
