Rome, Nov. 30 (LaPresse) – Pope Leo XIV arrived in Beirut. The aircraft carrying the Pontiff landed at around 2:45 p.m. Italian time. Upon his arrival at Beirut International Airport, the Pope was welcomed by the President of the Lebanese Republic, the President of the National Assembly, the Prime Minister, together with their spouses, and the Patriarch. Two children in traditional dress offered him flowers, bread and water.
