Ukraine, media: Miami talks focused on definition of borders

Washington, Dec. 1 (LaPresse) – Sunday’s negotiations in Miami between the United States and Ukraine focused on defining the new border with Russia based on a peace agreement. Two Ukrainian officials told Axios that the summit – which lasted five hours – was “difficult and intense” but productive. According to Axios, “the United States wants Ukraine to cede control of the entire Donbass region” to persuade Vladimir Putin to sign the peace agreement.
