Milan, Dec. 1 (LaPresse) – Ukraine is pushing for a direct meeting between Volodymyr Zelensky and Donald Trump. Rbc-Ukraine reports, citing an informed source, that after the meeting between the Ukrainian and U.S. delegations in Florida on November 30, it has not yet been decided where and when the next round of negotiations will take place, but that working contacts between Kiev and Washington continue. “Working contacts continue even between meetings. In other words, the fact that we met in Geneva and now in Florida does not mean that there have been no working contacts in the meantime. They are ongoing,” the source cited by Rbc-Ukraine clarified. The source added: “We want to convey that for us it is important not only to meet to ratify the agreement. There are some issues that the President of Ukraine considers necessary to discuss with his American counterpart. We hope that this view will be heard.”
