Garlasco murder: final report on Chiara Poggi’s fingernail DNA filed

Milan, 3 December (LaPresse) – Six months after the start of the preliminary investigation into the Garlasco murder, expert Denise Albani filed her final report today. The forensic police officer, appointed by investigating magistrate Daniela Garlaschelli to carry out genetic-forensic tests on the mixed, partial and haplotype DNA found on Chiara Poggi’s fingernails to compare it with that of the new suspect, Andrea Sempio, sent an email at around 2.20 p.m. to the defence lawyers of the 37-year-old from Voghera, the Pavia Public Prosecutor’s Office, the Poggi family and Alberto Stasi’s defence team to inform them of the filing without notifying them via certified email.
