Genoa, 4 December (LaPresse) – The situation is tense around the prefecture of Genoa, where a large contingent of police has been deployed to secure the area around the government building in anticipation of the arrival of a procession of metalworkers. The area has been sealed off from access via Via Roma and Corvetto with barricades, the grates used in cases of public order to close off all access to Largo Lanfranco, where the prefecture building is located. The march arrived a few minutes ago with men and vehicles from the factory and mechanical tractors lined up inside the march, which started this morning from Cornigliano. When the demonstrators arrived, smoke bombs were also set off.
