Basketball: Coach Repesa leaves Trapani. The club accuses him of ‘running away.’

Rome, 4 December (LaPresse) – These are turbulent times for the basketball team in Trapani. The Sicilian club has issued a statement confirming the rumours circulating in recent hours about the departure of coach Jasmin Repesa, who has returned to Croatia. The club, chaired by Valerio Antonini, has decided to report the coach for breach of contract. Not only that, but captain Amar Alibegovic has been removed from the team and the captain’s armband has been given to John Petrucelli. The team, which plays in Treviso on Sunday, would be top of Serie A without the five-point penalty imposed for administrative violations between last season and the current one.
