Turin, Dec. 5 (LaPresse) – Singer Sandro Giacobbe has died today at the age of 75 after a long battle with cancer. A songwriter of hits such as ‘Signora mia’ and ‘Gli occhi di tua madre’, he spent months at the top of national and international charts in the 1970s and 1980s. He was also part of the Nazionale Cantanti, which he later coached. He is survived by his wife and two sons, Alessandro and Andrea.
