Washington, Dec. 12 (LaPresse) – President Donald Trump has signed an executive order aimed at limiting the ability of states to regulate artificial intelligence and at nullifying some existing state laws. AI companies “want to be in the United States, and they want to do it here, and we have major investments coming in. But if they had to get 50 different approvals from 50 different states, forget it,” Trump said during a signing ceremony in the Oval Office, as reported by NBC News.
