Milan, Dec. 12 (LaPresse) – Ukraine is “ready” to accept territorial concessions. This is reported by Le Monde, citing sources according to which Kyiv is yielding on one of the key points in negotiations with the United States and Russia, agreeing to the creation of a demilitarized zone in the Donbass. According to Kyiv, this demilitarized zone would require both Ukrainian and Russian forces to withdraw from both sides of the current front line in the Donbass. This strategic region, a mining basin sought by Russia since 2014, could be placed under the supervision of an international force, including the United States, to prevent further Russian aggression.
