The United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee (USOPC) announced in a statement that the rapper will take on “a volunteer role to celebrate and support American athletes off the field.” Snoop Dogg was an important presence for the United States during last year’s Summer Games in Paris, serving as a special correspondent for NBC’s Olympic coverage, as well as performing at the Los Angeles 2028 awards ceremony.
