Healthcare: Milan Public Prosecutor’s Office opens investigation into chaos at San Raffaele Hospital

Milan, Dec. 12 (LaPresse) – The Milan Public Prosecutor’s Office has opened an investigation into the Iceberg pavilion of the San Raffaele Hospital in Milan to investigate what happened between Dec. 5 and 7. The case has been opened on an exploratory basis under model 45 and does not currently have any suspects or allegations of criminal activity. In the last few hours, Deputy Prosecutor Tiziana Sicialiano, head of the Sixth Department for Health, Environment, and Labor Protection, received the first two reports from the Carabinieri’s NAS (Nuclei Antisofisticazioni e Sanità, Anti-Adulteration and Health Unit) who arrived on Wednesday afternoon to carry out checks in the ward, and from the Milan mobile squad. The investigation has been assigned to Deputy Prosecutor Paolo Filippini, who received the files a few minutes ago.
