Rome, drug dealing in the Olimpico stadium's south curve: six ultras under investigation

Rome, 1 Apr. (LaPresse) – Criminal association for the purpose of dealing drugs. These are the charges that the anti-mafia district directorate of the Rome public prosecutor's office has brought against six AS Roma ultras, including a minor, from the Quadraro Group, who occupy the central part of the second tier of the Curva Sud at the Stadio Olimpico. The six suspects, who were investigated by the Digos (Anti-Mafia Unit) of the Rome Police Headquarters and who were subjected to house searches this morning, had organised a drug dealing chain that started with the transportation of the narcotic substance and ended with the retail sale of the doses to the drug addicts who attended the matches played at the Olympic Stadium. According to the investigators' reconstruction, the cocaine was consumed in the toilets of the Olympic Stadium. Some of the suspects, also for the crime of association, were questioned in advance by the investigating judge of the Rome court, as provided for by the recent reform. The investigations took place during the matches played by the Giallorossi team, starting in January 2024.
