Milan, 19 Dec. (LaPresse) – Kirill Dmitriev, Kremlin envoy and head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund, said that EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz had failed on the use of frozen Russian assets and called for their resignation. ‘Ursula and Merz must resign if they want to demonstrate “conviction, unity and determination” as they promised after failing to secure the illegal seizure of Russian reserves by the EU,’ Dmitriev said, as reported by the Russian news agency Tass.
