Mattarella: ‘Look to the future, seek hope’

Rome, 19 December (LaPresse) – ‘This traditional end-of-year gathering, with those who hold important roles in institutions and those who hold responsibilities in various sectors of social life, invites us to look to the future, seeking reasons to base our hope on that are not merely ritualistic expressions.’ These were the words of the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, speaking at the ceremony for the exchange of end-of-year greetings with representatives of institutions, political forces and civil society.
