Turin, 27 December (LaPresse) – ‘At the end of the match, I will greet the Roma fans, whatever the final result. But I would have liked to greet our fans too. It’s always a defeat for everyone when they can’t follow us, it’s a great shame and it will be greatly missed.’ These were the words of Genoa coach Daniele De Rossi as he presented Monday night’s match against Roma at a press conference. Genoa will play without their fans in attendance due to a travel ban following incidents against Inter. ‘We’ve never won at the Olimpico,’ he concluded, ‘and it would have been nice to try to do so in front of our fans.’
