Ukraine, Zelensky: ‘Presence of international forces in the country is crucial’

Rome, 29 December (LaPresse) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has stated that the presence of international forces in Ukraine is essential to guarantee security. “I believe that the presence of international forces is a real guarantee of security. It strengthens the security guarantees that our partners already offer us. And this gives security above all to Ukrainian citizens: both civilians and, among others, the military. It also gives security to Ukrainian and international businesses and investors that Putin will not return with another attack against Ukraine,” Zelensky said when speaking to journalists, according to Ukrainian media reports.
