Funeral held for Maria Sole Agnelli, attended by John and Ginevra Elkann

Rome, 29 December (LaPresse) – The funeral of Maria Sole Agnelli, sister of Avvocato and Susanna Agnelli, who died at the age of 100 at her home in Torrimpietra, near Rome, was held this morning. The funeral was held in the church of Palidoro, in the municipality of Fiumicino. Present were her five children and grandchildren John Elkann – accompanied by his wife Lavinia Borromeo and their children – and Ginevra Elkann – who arrived with her husband Giovanni Gaetani dell’Aquila d’Aragona. At the end of the funeral ceremony, Maria Sole Agnelli’s coffin was carried outside the church by her great-grandchildren. The mayor of Fiumicino, Mario Baccini, also attended the funeral. Hundreds of people wanted to pay their last respects to Maria Sole Agnelli by participating in the funeral ceremony thanks to microphones placed outside the church.
