Turin: 49-year-old Englishman dies on the track from cardiac arrest

Rome, 4 January (LaPresse) – A 49-year-old British man died this morning at around 10.50 a.m. on the Claviere ski slopes in Turin due to cardiac arrest. The ski patrol responded promptly, performing life-saving procedures and using a semi-automatic defibrillator (AED). The medical team from the Azienda Zero Regional Helicopter Rescue Service also arrived at the scene. Despite attempts at resuscitation, there was nothing that could be done for the man. The body was transferred to the hospital in Susa.
