Venezuela: Defence Minister calls for Maduro’s immediate return

Milan, 4 January (LaPresse) – Venezuelan Defence Minister Vladimir Padrino López today called for the ‘immediate return’ of ousted President Nicolás Maduro and his wife Cilia Flores after their capture by the United States, CNN reports. ‘We demand the return of Maduro and the First Lady,’ López said at a press conference. ‘This is an act of aggression against the legitimate president of Venezuela and the First Lady,’ he added.
