Bologna: arrest for murder of train conductor upheld, Jelenic in prison

Parma, 9 January (LaPresse) – The arrest of Marin Jelenic, the 36-year-old Croatian national suspected of murdering Alessandro Ambrosio, the 34-year-old Trenitalia train conductor found dead on 5 January near the staff parking area at Bologna station, has been confirmed. The man has been transferred to prison. Yesterday, a further inspection carried out by the Bologna Forensic Police with metal detectors led to the identification of a specific point, in an area adjacent to the pedestrian path leading to the station car park, where a knife was found and then catalogued for further investigation.
