The Kazakh won his first title of 2026 by beating Lorenzo Musetti 7-6, 6-3 in the final in one hour and 38 minutes. The match was evenly balanced in the first set, which was decided in a tiebreak by Bublik after Musetti failed to capitalise on two break points. In the second set, the Italian suffered a problem with his right forearm, requiring the intervention of the physiotherapist twice and losing his serve three times. With this victory, Bublik enters the Top 10 for the first time, while Musetti leaves Hong Kong with a new best ranking of fifth in the world.
