Milan, Jan. 13 (LaPresse) – It is now official. Jonas Vingegaard will race the 2026 Giro d’Italia, which gets underway on Friday, May 8 in Bulgaria. The announcement was made by his team, Visma-Lease a Bike, in a post on X. “I would like to add the pink jersey to my collection,” said the Danish rider, making his absolute debut at the Giro. Vingegaard, who will make his seasonal debut at the UAE Tour, scheduled from February 16 to 22, will also compete in the Tour de France in addition to the Giro, which will start on July 4.
