Brasilia (Brazil), Jan 16 (LaPresse) – A judge of the Brazilian Supreme Court ordered the transfer of former president Jair Bolsonaro to a larger cell in the Papuda penitentiary complex. Bolsonaro has been serving since last November a 27-year sentence for an attempted coup after his defeat in the 2022 elections. His lawyers have requested house arrest for health reasons. The new cell includes a private outdoor area, and Bolsonaro will have 24-hour access to private medical care.
