Anguillara: investigations continue into possible accomplices of Carlomagno

Rome, 22 January (LaPresse) – Someone may have helped Carlomagno clean up the blood from the house in Anguillara where he killed his wife Federica Torzullo. This is the hypothesis being investigated by the Carabinieri of the Ostia territorial department’s investigative unit, coordinated by Civitavecchia prosecutor Alberto Liguori. Just today, an investigative summit was held at the barracks where the Bracciano Carabinieri company is located. It cannot be ruled out that someone very close to Claudio Agostino Carlomagno may have helped him in the aftermath of the femicide. Today, the victim’s parents were interviewed by investigators, and the parents of the confessed perpetrator will also be interviewed in the coming days. The presence of the father, Pasquale Carlomagno, in a Doblò van in front of the villa where the crime took place remains to be verified. The presence of the parent was verified between 7:08 and 7:17 a.m. on 9 January, while his son allegedly killed the woman, and of an “unidentified person” at 2:17 p.m. when Carlomagno returned home.
