Florence: charred body found in Vinci, Carabinieri investigate

Florence, 23 January (LaPresse) – Carabinieri from the Empoli company and the Florence investigative unit are investigating the discovery of a charred body in Vinci (Florence). The military intervened late yesterday evening, Thursday 22 January, in Via di Faltognano, at the request of the fire brigade who had found a completely charred body at the base of a woodshed where they had just extinguished a fire. Based on initial findings, neither accident nor voluntary act can be ruled out. However, the investigation also concerns an incident that took place nearby, in front of the entrance to the house adjacent to the woodshed, where a few minutes earlier a woman, the owner of the house, was allegedly attacked by a young man, probably her son, who struck her with a hammer.
