Australian Open: Paolini out in the third round, Jovic advances

Milan, 23 January (LaPresse) – Jasmine Paolini’s run at the Australian Open, the first Grand Slam tournament of the season, came to an end in the third round. The Italian tennis player, ranked No. 8 and seeded No. 7, lost to the young American Iva Jovic, ranked No. 27 in the WTA and seeded No. 29, who won in three sets with a score of 6-2, 7-6 (3) after 1 hour and 48 minutes of play.
