Rome, 26 January (LaPresse) – Chiara Petrolini was fully capable of understanding and willing at the time of the events. This is what emerges from the psychiatric report ordered by the Court of Assizes of Parma in the trial of the 22-year-old accused of killing and concealing the bodies of her two children, born one year apart. Experts Marina Carla Verga and Laura Ghiringhelli found no psychiatric disorders that would affect the defendant’s mental capacity, and she was also deemed fit to stand trial. The document describes the young woman as fragile and immature, for whom a course of therapy similar to that provided for minors is considered appropriate.
