Football, Pjanic announces retirement: “The field has been my piano”

Football was my music, the field my piano.” With this metaphor, Miralem Pjanic, a free agent since summer 2025, announced his retirement from football. “My dream has always been to make you feel the beauty of this game,” added the former Roma and Juventus midfielder in an Instagram post, in which he also shared a video retracing his career. “Today, with a heart full of gratitude, I can say that this symphony has been my life. A special thanks goes to my family, who have been my first support and my true silent strength. To my teammates, my coaches, with whom I shared dreams, victories, and sacrifices.
