Washington (USA), 2 February (LaPresse) – Attorney General Pam Bondi has announced two more arrests in connection with the protest that took place on 18 January in a church in St. Paul, Minnesota, against immigration restrictions. A Minnesota grand jury indicted nine people on federal charges of conspiracy and violating the First Amendment rights of worshippers during the protest at Cities Church in St. Paul, where an ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) official is pastor. The protest drew strong objections from the Trump administration. Among those charged with violating federal civil rights are freelance journalists Don Lemon and Georgia Fort, who were among the four people arrested on Friday. In a social media post, Bondi identified the last two arrested as Ian Davis Austin and Jerome Deangelo Richardson, without providing further details.
