Ukraine, Moscow: ‘Progress in talks despite European warmongers’

Milan, 5 February (LaPresse) – The head of the Russian delegation, Kirill Dmitriev, has stated that progress and positive developments are being made in the ongoing negotiations in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, for a peace agreement in Ukraine. When asked if there had been any progress, Dmitriev said that “one indicator could be the fact” that “warmongers” from Europe and Britain are constantly trying to “interfere with this process” and hinder it. This was reported by the Tass news agency. He then noted that the more attempts of this kind occur, the clearer it becomes that “progress is being made” and that there are “positive and forward-moving developments”. “But I believe it is impossible to interfere,” Dmitriev concluded, adding that “it is difficult for them, but they are trying”.
