Rome, attempts to kill partner by stabbing: 54-year-old arrested

Rome, Feb. 6 (LaPresse) – A 54-year-old man was arrested by the Carabinieri of the Tor Pignattara station, accused of attempted murder against his 50-year-old partner. The victim is a 50-year-old Roman woman, who was stabbed and punched at home yesterday evening shortly before 6 p.m., on via G. Maggi, in Rome. The woman was assisted by the 118 emergency service and taken to the San Giovanni emergency room, where she was given a prognosis of 40 days for multiple fractures and stab wounds on various parts of her body. When the man was apprehended by the Carabinieri, he was in an altered state due to alcohol consumption. The investigations were carried out by the Carabinieri of the investigative unit on via In Selci.
