Naples: heart transplant, Ministry of Health sends inspectors to Bolzano

This was announced by sources at the ministry. The inspectors will have to ascertain the circumstances that led to the damage to the organ during transport. According to reports, the heart was transported using dry ice instead of normal ice, which may have compromised the integrity of the organ prior to transplantation. The inspection aims to shed light on the entire incident, from the removal of the organ to its arrival in Naples, and to clarify any responsibilities in the management of the removal and transport of the organ.
