Cortina d’Ampezzo (Belluno), 14 Feb. (LaPresse) – Giada D’Antonio, engaged in a giant slalom training session with her teammates in Dobbiaco, fell following a gate straddle. The 16-year-old from Naples was immediately assisted by the technical and medical staff present on the slope and taken to hospital for the necessary examinations. The MRI she underwent revealed a sprain injury to her right knee, with a suspected tear of the anterior cruciate ligament. Her condition will be further assessed in the afternoon by the Medical Commission, which will provide a definitive evaluation of the situation.
