Milan, 16 February (LaPresse) – Russia rejects the accusations relating to the poisoning of Alexei Navalny and considers them biased and unfounded. This is what Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, according to reports by the Russian news agency Ria Novosti. The Kremlin’s ‘reaction is very negative,’ said Peskov, “naturally we do not accept such accusations. We disagree. We consider them biased and unfounded. And, in fact, we firmly reject them.” Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny died exactly two years ago, on 16 February 2024, in the prison where he was being held in Siberia. On Saturday, five European countries – the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Sweden and the Netherlands – reported, following laboratory analysis, that Navalny died from a toxin found in Ecuadorian poison dart frogs.
