Epstein case: media reports former British minister Mandelson arrested

Rome, 23 February (LaPresse) – Peter Mandelson, former British minister and ambassador to the United States, has been arrested on charges of ‘misconduct in public office’ in connection with the Epstein case. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said that officers ‘arrested a 72-year-old man on suspicion of misconduct in public office’. “The man,” they added, “was arrested in Camden and taken to a London police station for questioning. This follows search warrants at two addresses in the Wiltshire and Camden areas”. Mandelson has always denied all charges against him.
