Rome, 25 February (LaPresse) – The verdict on a section of the trial for the assault on the Rome headquarters of the CGIL trade union, which took place during the COVID-19 pandemic during a No Green Pass march, is expected on 25 March. Today, the Attorney General of the Rome Court of Appeal requested confirmation of the sentences handed down in the first instance: 8 years and 6 months for Roberto Fiore, leader of Forza Nuova, and 8 years and 7 months for Giuliano Castellino. The appeal judges also rejected the request for a travel ban made by Attorney General Francesco Scavo against Fiore and the deputy secretary of FN, Luca Castellini.
