North Korea, White House: ‘Open to dialogue without any preconditions’

Rome, 27 February (LaPresse) – US President Donald Trump remains open to dialogue with North Korea ‘without any preconditions’. This was stated by the White House after Pyongyang leader Kim Jong-un expressed his willingness to engage in dialogue with the United States if it abandoned its ‘hostile’ policy towards his regime. During a recent party congress, Kim said that Pyongyang has ‘no reason not to get along with the United States’ if Washington withdraws its hostile policy, stressing that the prospects for ties between the United States and North Korea ‘will depend entirely on the attitude of the US.’
