Frankfurt (Germany), Mar. 6 (LaPresse) – The Israel Defense Forces said they had killed a senior figure of the Iranian regime in Tehran. According to Haaretz, an Israeli source told Sky News in Arabic that Israel assassinated Ali Asghar Hejazi, chief of staff to former Supreme Leader Khamenei. Hejazi was at the center of Khamenei’s inner circle of aides and was among the candidates to succeed him.
