Turin, 6 March (LaPresse) – Napoli beat Torino 2-1 at the Maradona Stadium in the match that opened the 28th round of Serie A and climbed to 56 points in the standings, temporarily moving to within one point of second-placed Milan. Alisson Santos broke the deadlock after just seven minutes, and in the second half, Elmas doubled the lead in the 23rd minute with a turn and shot in the box following a header from Politano. A header from Casadei three minutes before the 90th minute brought the Granata back into the game, and they came close to equalising in the final minutes with Adams, but ultimately came away defeated. D’Aversa’s team remains on 30 points, currently six points above the relegation zone.
