Milan, 9 March. (LaPresse) – Another tram in Milan derailed this morning on the border with Rozzano. According to reports, the tram on line 15 had a problem with a wheel that jammed, causing the vehicle to derail shortly after leaving the Via Curiel/Viale Isonzo stop near the Fiordaliso shopping centre in Rozzano. The accident occurred at around 7.30 a.m. and caused no injuries. The line has been suspended and tram 15 has been replaced by buses between Piazza Abbiategrasso and the Rozzano terminus. This is the third tram accident in Milan since Friday 27 February, which caused two deaths and 48 injuries.
