Iran: CSD invokes Article 11 of the Constitution: Italy will not take part in the war

Rome, 13 March (LaPresse) – “For all these reasons, Italy is not participating and will not take part in the war, as the Prime Minister reiterated in Parliament.” This is stated in a press release issued by the Quirinale following the Supreme Defence Council meeting. The Council, ‘in full compliance with Article 11 of the Constitution,’ the statement continues, ‘expresses grave concern at the proliferation of conflicts, particularly in the Mediterranean region and the Middle East’.
