Fashion: Renzo Rosso meets King Charles III at Buckingham Palace

Rome, 13 March (LaPresse) – OTB, the international fashion and luxury group that owns the brands Diesel, Jil Sander, Maison Margiela, Marni and Viktor&Rolf, the companies Staff International and Brave Kid, and holds a stake in the Amiri brand, met His Majesty King Charles III at Buckingham Palace during a private session with the Fashion Task Force of the Sustainable Markets Initiative, chaired by Federico Marchetti. Represented by Chairman Renzo Rosso and Sustainability Ambassador Andrea Rosso, the OTB Group shared the progress made in the areas of sustainability and technology, highlighting how these priorities are central to the Group’s long-term vision. During the meeting, a statement explains, OTB presented a pilot project for a Digital Product Passport that anticipates future European regulations. “The future of fashion is built on clear, shared principles, with creativity at the heart, sustainability guiding our choices, and technology as a lever for the sector’s development and innovation. Concrete results in these areas can only be achieved through the collaboration and contribution of all industry players. Sustainability is a fundamental value and has always been a priority for our Group. We pursue this through various initiatives, including the increasingly widespread use of responsible materials across the Group’s brands and, at the same time, a strong commitment to social sustainability through the activities of the OTB Foundation. I have great admiration for the attention and dedication that His Majesty King Charles III has devoted to these issues for many years, and it was a great honour for us to be able to tell him about the progress we are making. In particular, today we also wanted to share our commitment to sustainability in the technological sphere, presenting the projects we are developing together with Aura as part of the Digital Product Passport,” commented Renzo Rosso, Chairman and Founder of the OTB Group.
