Beirut, Mar 16 (LaPresse) – The death toll from Israeli attacks in Lebanon since March 2, when the latest wave of fighting between Israel and Hezbollah began following the U.S. and Israeli strike on Iran, has risen to 886, with 2,141 injured. The Lebanese Ministry of Health reports that among the dead are 111 children and 67 women. According to the ministry, the number of injured includes 332 children and 362 women. Israeli attacks have mainly hit southern and eastern Lebanon, as well as some areas of Beirut, targeting buildings, vehicles, and even tents for internally displaced persons, which number in the hundreds of thousands.
