Iran, Araghchi: ‘We don’t want a ceasefire, but a definitive end to the war’

Milan, 18 March (LaPresse) – ‘We are not seeking a ceasefire because we do not want this scenario to repeat itself after a while; rather, we want a complete and definitive end to the war.’ Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi told Al Jazeera. He also stated that the United States had entered the war at ‘Israel’s instigation’ and on the basis of ‘errors of judgement’: ‘Those who were demanding our unconditional surrender are now even forced to ask their rivals for help in opening the Strait of Hormuz.’
