Ukraine, Kremlin: “Trilateral talks with the US and Kyiv are on hold”

Rome, Mar. 19 (LaPresse) – Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stated that negotiations between Moscow and Kyiv mediated by Washington are currently on hold. “The trilateral group is on pause,” Peskov told the newspaper Izvestia. However, he noted that work within the bilateral Russian-American working group on economic issues continues. At the same time, according to Peskov, Russia will continue to contact Ukraine regarding prisoner exchanges and the return of fallen soldiers’ bodies. “Work in this area will certainly continue,” he said.
