Milan, 23 Mar. (LaPresse/AP) – An Israeli air raid has destroyed another bridge over the Litani River in southern Lebanon. The attack, which took place today in the southern village of Qaaqaaiyet al-Jisr, has severed a vital link between the southern town of Nabatiyeh and the al-Hujair Valley region further south. On Sunday, the IDF struck the Qasmiyeh bridge, near the southern port city of Tyre. Lebanese President Joseph Aoun described the new Israeli attacks on bridges in the south of the country as ‘a prelude to a ground invasion’.
