Iran, Tehran sources to CNN: “Contacts with the U.S. but no negotiation yet”

Washington (USA), Mar. 24 (LaPresse) – An Iranian source told CNN that there have been “contacts” between the United States and Tehran and that Iran is willing to consider “sustainable” proposals to end the war. “In recent days there have been contacts between the United States and Iran, initiated by Washington, but nothing that has reached the level of formal negotiations,” the source said. “Messages have been received through various intermediaries to explore the possibility of reaching an agreement to end the war,” the source added. “The proposals currently under consideration are not simply aimed at achieving a ceasefire, but at reaching a concrete agreement to end the conflict between the United States and Iran,” the source further stated, without providing details.
